The ancient sports of Archery and Axe Throwing date back over 70,000 years with hunter-gatherers searching for food before Bows and Axes moved onto the battlefields. Not much has changed since these ancient times (apart from not shooting at people and animals!) so come and learn a new skill and challenge each other to go for the gold!

Archery
Ready to take aim? Try out this ancient sport with our up to date modern equipment and different sizes of bows and arrows. Our archery sessions will give everyone the chance to have a go at this ancient skill and challenge each other to go for the gold!
We have a few different sites in the Porthleven area but sessions change each week so make sure you get in touch to find the next available chance to shoot. We can also be totally mobile for private event hire should you wish to book in for a special occasions, be it a birthday party or wedding we can run a fun session tailored for your needs!
Axe Throwing
Axe throwing is a fun and exciting new sport that is perfect for groups of friends or family.
The idea is to throw your axe towards the target and to hit as close as possible to the bull! You will be shown the techniques to give you the best chance of hitting the target and once you are confidant in your abilities to hit what’s in front of you its competition time!
We run these sessions at our base in Porthleven in-between our water based activities so if you wish to have a go again then send the team a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible with availability.
